LaviniaNext wins tender to run Visit Barcelona social network activities

After a public tender, the Consorci de Turisme de Barcelona, the official entity for the promotion and invigoration of tourism, cultural and commercial activities in Barcelona, has awarded LaviniaNext the rights to management of all Visit Barcelona social network accounts. Visit Barcelona is a cross-platform brand with which Turisme de Barcelona channels its social communications to offer ideas and suggestions to visitors to the city.

LaviniaNext has been in charge of these social networks since 2014, and with this award it will continue to manage the service until 2020. Among the platforms managed by LaviniaNext, Instagram is the undisputed leading network with more than 174,000 followers; followed by Facebook, with more than 100,000 fans; Twitter, with more than 16,000 followers in its English version, and with versions in Catalan, Spanish, French and Italian adding several thousand more users. Similarly, LaviniaNext is also responsible for Visit Barcelona profiles on Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube.

The service offered by LaviniaNext ranges from the definition of the social media strategy, creation of an editorial calendar, creation and writing of content, monitoring and active listening, to the analysis of monthly and annual results and ongoing advice to assess possible promotional actions to take through competitions or activities with influencers

LaviniaNext works strategically so that Visit Barcelona continues to be a fundamental channel on the different social platforms in promoting the Barcelona brand digitally to the whole world.
