Lavinia, example at ‘Belgium Investors’ Lunch’

Miquel Rutllant, general manager of the Lavinia Group, was invited by the Ambassador of Belgium in Spain, Marc Calcoen, to explain the Lavinia Group's implementation in his country at the ‘Belgium Investors’ Lunch’ held this week at Hotel Casa Fuster. The event was organised by the Belgian business development agencies Invest in Flanders, Digital Wallonia BCN and Hub.Brussels.

In his speech, Rutllant explained the process involved the internationalisation of Lavinia in Belgium through companies such as Alice and ALLTV, the consortium formed by Lavinia and the Videohouse company for the management of the European Commission’s audiovisual services.

Rutllant also outlined the European Parliament multimedia centre project that is being developed by LaviniaNext to offer a digital platform for all audiovisual content (both videos and images) related to parliamentary activity and committee meetings, as well as content published by Parliament itself.

The event was attended by a numnber of senior businesspeople, as well as Michela Ritondo, International Tax Expert at the Fiscal Department for Foreign Investments; Ariane Léonard, economic and commercial counsellor for the Brussels Region in Spain and Jorge Menárguez, CEO of Frutapac, another company that, like Lavinia, described what it is doing in Belgium.
