Awards recognising professional excellence behind the cameras to be presented on November 20
The latest meeting of the board of the Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de Televisión (Academy of Television Sciences and Arts) decided the winners of the Premios Talento (Talent Awards) for 2018. These include Antoni Esteve, president of the Lavinia Group, for his contribution to the world of television.
In its eighteenth edition, awards have also been bestowed on the following professionals: Elena Hortelano (LaSexta Director of News Production); José Pablo López (Director General of Telemadrid); Carlos Martín (Lawyer); Samuel Martín Mateo (Producer and Director for TVE’s La 2); Rafael Domínguez (Canal Sur News Production Coordinator); Cristina López Sors (Stylist for Antena 3 Noticias); Santiago Falcón (Executive Producer); Lucho González-Aller (Reporter and Producer); Miguel Ángel Mayo (Governor of Mediaset España); Marisol Navarro (Boomerang TV Programme Controller); Roberto Roldán (Factoría Plural Content Manager); Pepa Alfayate (Programme Producer); Karmen Garrido (Reporter and Writer); Begoña Puig (Globomedia – Mediapro Programme Controller) and Roberto J. Oltra (Director, Scriptwriter and Producer).
The award ceremony will be held on November 20 at the Institut Français de Madrid, and will be attended by numerous Spanish television professionals.
The Talent Awards are nominated by academics and voted on by the Academy's Board. To be eligible, candidates must have worked behind the cameras with brilliance and general renown.
